Rapale dance group to represent Nampula at Maputo International Fair
A dance group from the Rapale Secondary School has been selected to represent the Nampula province at the 61st edition of the Maputo International Fair (FACIM). The event serves as a major national platform for Mozambique's economic and cultural promotion.
The Rapale District Government held a farewell ceremony for the group, attended by Carlos Marcelino, Director of District Services for Education, Youth, and Technology, representing District Administrator Maria Noventa Victor. Officials emphasized that the participation is an opportunity for young artists to showcase local talent and preserve the district's unique cultural identity through traditional rhythms and movements.
Beyond the performances, the initiative aims to foster cultural exchange, allowing the students to interact with other artistic expressions and gain new experiences. The local government views this as a way to increase visibility for local artistic potential and encourage younger generations to value their heritage.
