Raphael Ketzmar Leads Berlin Rowing Club to Top Four at German Championships in Münster

Thirteen‑year‑old Raphael Ketzmar of Ruder‑Union Arkona Berlin delivered a strong performance at the German Rowing Championships in Münster. Over three days he placed second in the single‑scull long‑distance race and secured fourth overall, qualifying for the A‑final of the short‑distance event where he repeated a fourth‑place finish.

In the junior double‑sculls (ages 12‑13), Ketzmar’s teammates Finn, Milan, Teoman, Illia and Tom earned a silver medal after advancing through the long‑distance heats to the C‑final, where they finished second. The results mark Ketzmar’s third appearance at the national championships and his emergence as a leading talent in his age group.
