Raphael Onyedika signs long‑term deal with Eintracht Frankfurt
Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika, 25, has joined German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on a contract that runs until 30 June 2031. The player arrives from Belgian champions Club Brugge, where he spent four seasons, won two Belgian Pro League titles and made 24 UEFA Champions League appearances. Onyedika has earned 26 caps for the Super Eagles, scoring three goals.
Frankfurt’s board member for sport Markus Krösche praised his physicality, tactical understanding and consistency, calling him an important building block for the squad. The midfielder announced the move on Instagram, thanking God and expressing gratitude for the new challenge. He will wear the number 25 shirt and is expected to strengthen Frankfurt’s midfield as the club aims to return to the Champions League under head coach Adi Hütter.
