Raphaël Glucksmann accuses La France Insoumise of organized harassment

Raphaël Glucksmann, the social-democratic presidential candidate and leader of the Place publique party, has accused La France Insoumise (LFI) of conducting an organized “harassment campaign” against him. Glucksmann stated that LFI militants have disrupted his events, making it difficult for him to participate in street rallies and public gatherings.

Glucksmann questioned why he is being targeted specifically rather than other political figures like Gabriel Attal or Édouard Philippe. He suggested the hostility stems from his efforts to “refound democratic leftism” to defeat Marine Le Pen and return the left to power.

In response, LFI coordinator Manuel Bompard denied the allegations, stating that Glucksmann is not an adversary and is instead attempting to create a sense of confrontation. Bompard noted that LFI does not wish to participate in such a conflict.
