Raphaël Glucksmann criticized in leaked video regarding Mélenchon and Le Pen

Leaked video footage has revealed controversial remarks made by Raphaël Glucksmann, a candidate for the left-wing primary, during a private meeting with supporters of Boris Vallaud on September 17.

In the clips, which were published by Le Média, Glucksmann criticized Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Marine Le Pen regarding their performance during a Medef debate in late August. Glucksmann remarked that Mélenchon appeared to have “lost his eyes” during the debate and commented on the political symmetry between Le Pen bringing up the veil and Mélenchon wearing the abaya, stating, “On va pas rentrer dedans, on leur pisse dessus” (We are not going to get into it, we will piss on them).

Glucksmann also directed criticism toward Ségolène Royal, accusing her of having “done the belly dance” in front of Emmanuel Macron. Glucksmann's team has declined to comment on the footage.
