Raphaël Le Guen attracts Premier League interest

Raphaël Le Guen, a 20-year-old central defender for Stade Brestois, has emerged as a significant transfer target for English Premier League clubs. Following his consistent performances in Ligue 1, both Fulham and Crystal Palace have reportedly expressed interest in the player.

Stade Brestois, which holds Le Guen’s contract until June 2029, has reportedly set a valuation of approximately €20 million for the defender. While Stade Rennais has shown interest in the talent, the high valuation and potential competition from English clubs may make a move by the Rennes-based side difficult.

Le Guen, a product of the Brest academy, has become a regular starter under manager Julien Lachuer, playing every minute of the first three matches of the current season. Although his official market value was previously estimated much lower, his recent progression has significantly increased his projected transfer fee.
