Raphinha wins LaLiga Player of the Month for September

Raphinha has been named LaLiga’s Player of the Month for September, marking his second consecutive monthly award after winning in August. The FC Barcelona forward recorded seven goals and two assists during the month, including back-to-back hat-tricks against Racing Santander and Sevilla.

Under the tactical direction of Hansi Flick, Raphinha has transitioned from a winger to a central attacking role. This positional shift has seen him lead the Pichichi standings with 12 league goals, placing him five ahead of competitors such as Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal. His performances have contributed to Barcelona maintaining an undefeated record and leading the league standings.

Despite recent concerns regarding a potential thigh injury during international duty with Brazil, medical scans have confirmed Raphinha is fit to continue. In addition to his individual honors, Hansi Flick was named Coach of the Month, and João Cancelo received the Goal of the Month award.
