FC Barcelona winger Raphinha ruled out of upcoming matches

FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that winger Raphinha will miss the upcoming La Liga match against Getafe and the Champions League fixture against Galatasaray. Although medical exams did not reveal a serious injury, the club is taking a cautious approach due to the player's history of muscle issues, specifically following an edema in his right thigh sustained during international duty with Brazil.

Flick expressed frustration regarding the heavy travel demands placed on players, specifically questioning the necessity of Raphinha's long-distance trip to Australia for friendly matches.

In terms of squad availability, Frenkie de Jong has returned to group training but is not yet ready for competitive action, with a potential return targeted for the match against Real Betis. Other players, including Lamine Yamal, are expected to feature in the lineup. Flick also praised Yamal's development, stating he has the potential to become the best player in the world if he maintains his current attitude and mentality.
