Raphinha cleared of serious injury after leaving Brazil squad

FC Barcelona attacker Raphinha has undergone medical tests in Barcelona following his early departure from the Brazil national team. After experiencing discomfort during a friendly match against Australia, the Brazilian international was diagnosed with a small muscle edema in his right thigh.

Medical examinations at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper have ruled out a serious injury, providing significant relief to coach Hansi Flick and club president Joan Laporta. While the edema was confirmed, the condition is not considered severe. Raphinha is expected to be available for Barcelona’s upcoming La Liga match against Getafe on October 10.

Despite the positive news, the club intends to take a cautious approach to his recovery to avoid recurring issues, as the player has a history of muscle injuries. Barcelona officials have also expressed concern regarding the physical toll of the FIFA international break on key players.
