Rapid Bucharest plans winter transfers following FCSB defeat

Following a 1-4 loss to FCSB, Rapid Bucharest president Victor Angelescu has outlined the club's plans for the winter transfer window. The club aims to strengthen its offensive department, specifically seeking an attacking midfielder and a striker.

Angelescu noted that while the defense is relatively stable, two or three players may depart the team. Regarding the future of Slovakian striker Timotej Jambor, the president stated that head coach Daniel Pancu will have the final decision, noting that Jambor has struggled to make an impact during his three seasons with the club.

Former Rapid coach Miță Iosif commented on the defeat, describing it as a delicate moment for the team. He suggested the loss might be an exception to the club's recent form, noting that Rapid had previously secured five consecutive victories.
