Rappi and Autonomy expand mobility services in Mexico and Argentina

Rappi and Chirey have launched a partnership in Mexico allowing users to request vehicle test drives directly through the Rappi app. The service, currently available for free in the Polanco area of Mexico City, includes various Chirey models such as the Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 4 Pro, Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 7 Phev Csh, Tiggo 8 Pro, and Tiggo 8 Phev Csh.

In Argentina, the mobility and financial services company Autonomy has raised US$8 million in a Series A funding round. Supported by investors including Natan VC and Magna Capital, the scaleup aims to expand its fleet to 10,000 vehicles by 2027. Autonomy utilizes a ‘rent-to-own’ model designed for ride-hailing drivers who often lack access to traditional bank financing, evaluating drivers based on their platform performance rather than standard credit histories.
