Raquel Lyra delivers 41 renovated homes in Recife

Governor Raquel Lyra has delivered the first 41 renovated housing units in the Imbiribeira neighborhood, located in the South Zone of Recife, through the ‘Morar Bem’ program. The initiative, which includes the ‘Reforma no Lar’ modality, aims to improve living conditions in several local communities, including Sonho Meu, Laje, and Beira da Linha.

The project involves an estimated investment of R$ 3.6 million and is expected to benefit a total of 200 properties across five communities in the district, such as Aritana and 7 de Maio. The renovations, executed by the State Housing and Works Company (Cehab), include roof rehabilitation, electrical and hydraulic system updates, ceramic tiling, and general painting.

Vice-Governor Priscila Krause accompanied the event. Lyra emphasized that the program focuses on providing dignity by improving existing homes rather than just building new ones.
