Pernambuco Governor Raquel Lyra (PSD) has launched her first official electoral campaign guide, utilizing a personal narrative to connect with voters. In a video broadcast on Friday, Lyra emphasized that ‘more important than the arrival is the journey,’ reflecting on the challenges faced during her tenure and her personal life.

Lyra included reflections on the death of her husband, businessman Fernando Lucena, as part of a broader discourse on overcoming adversity. Having assumed office in January 2023 following her 2022 election, the Governor is positioning her experience at the Palácio do Campo das Princesas as a central element of her campaign strategy.
