Raquel Rodriguez discusses unproduced WWE storyline with Carlito

WWE performer Raquel Rodriguez revealed details regarding a potential on-screen romantic storyline with Carlito that was never developed by creative. Speaking on the Insight Podcast, Rodriguez noted that while the idea of a pairing remained informal, she had hoped the interaction would evolve naturally through on-air segments.

Rodriguez expressed interest in seeing the angle reach a conclusion, specifically mentioning that a final date scene would have been entertaining for fans. She also commented on the energy of Carlito and R-Truth, noting their frequent attempts to make her break character and laugh during their time involving The Judgment Day faction.

While Carlito’s tenure with The Judgment Day was relatively brief, Rodriguez highlighted how these planned character moments often remain in discussion without ever reaching television. Rodriguez has since transitioned into a prominent singles role, recently capturing the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
