Rare Porsche Carrera GT painted Ferrari red heads to Monterey auction

Collector Milton Verret has repainted a Porsche Carrera GT in Ferrari's official Rosso Fuoco shade. The super‑sportscar, which has only 5,586 km on the odometer, retains its original 5.7‑litre V10 engine, carbon‑fiber shift lever and leather interior. It will be offered at a Mecum auction during Monterey Car Week, with estimates suggesting a sale price above €2 million.

Separately, Shelby American unveiled the 2026 Shelby F‑150 Super Snake Sport, a two‑seat pickup built on the Ford F‑150 platform. The vehicle features a 5.0‑litre V8 borrowed from the Mustang, a Whipple supercharger delivering more than 810 hp, carbon‑fiber trim, 22‑inch wheels and distinctive Le Mans‑style racing stripes. The Super Snake Sport is positioned as an extreme, road‑legal performance truck.
