Rare Sekiro-themed Xbox One X console listed on eBay for $12,000

A rare, limited-edition Xbox One X console featuring a custom design for the game ‘Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’ has been listed for sale on eBay for $11,999.

Originally commissioned in 2019 by Microsoft through the creative agency Takeoff Studios to celebrate the release of the FromSoftware title, only 12 of these specific units were ever produced. These consoles were intended for promotional events and giveaways rather than public sale, making them highly sought-after collector's items.

The 1TB unit is described by the seller, ‘neoframe’, as being in unused condition, noting that it boots directly to the initial setup screen. However, the seller noted some minor cosmetic wear from being stored for seven years, including worn lacquer on the sword-themed base and small scratches on the controller.
