Rasheem Biles declines Ohio State transfer interest

Texas Longhorns linebacker Rasheem Biles has stated he declined interest from Ohio State during the transfer process, citing a lack of recruitment from the program during his high school years. Biles, a native of Pickerington, Ohio, previously played three seasons for the Pitt Panthers before transferring to Texas.

Biles noted that while Ohio State reached out to him after he entered the transfer portal following the 2025 season, he had no desire to return to Columbus or play for the Buckeyes. He expressed that since the program did not pursue him out of high school, he saw no reason to join them now.

Biles is looking forward to the upcoming matchup between Texas and Ohio State, scheduled for September 12 in Austin. His recent collegiate statistics include 101 combined tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks during his final season at Pitt.
