Rashid Karami International Fair launches hotel investment tender

The board of directors of the Rashid Karami International Fair has officially launched a tender for the investment of the fair's hotel. The announcement was made during a press conference held in Tripoli, attended by Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Al-Bassat and other regional officials.

Minister Al-Bassat stated that the hotel project is a primary objective intended to serve as a link for various ongoing and future development projects in the region. He highlighted a broader vision for Tripoli, which includes the expansion of the port, the operation of the airport, and the development of the free economic zone into a logistics and technical hub.

Hani Shaarani, Chairman of the Fair's Board of Directors, noted that the initiative follows a successful year in which the fair hosted 150 events and attracted 250,000 visitors. The project is part of a strategic plan to rehabilitate and restore the fairgrounds to bolster tourism and economic activity in Northern Lebanon.
