Rasht officials discuss urban service and waste management improvements

Officials from the Organization of Municipalities and Dehyaris of the Country met with the Mayor of Rasht to discuss improving urban services and environmental management in Gilan province. The discussions focused on addressing challenges in waste management, expanding green spaces, and enhancing the overall quality of life for citizens.

Saidreza Jandaghian, Director General of the Environment and Urban Services Office, emphasized that Rasht requires specialized attention due to its high population and geographic position. He noted that the organization is prepared to support the municipality through cooperation with the private sector and public participation to resolve environmental issues.
