Rashtriya Indian Military College opens July 2027 admissions

The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun has opened applications for admission to the July 2027 term. The entrance examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on December 6, 2026.

Eligible candidates must have been born between July 2, 2013, and January 1, 2015, and must be currently enrolled in or have completed seventh grade. Successful applicants will be admitted to the eighth grade. The written examination will consist of three papers: English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. Candidates who pass the written test will proceed to an oral examination/interview at a later date.

The application deadline is September 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM. A late application period with an additional fee will be available from October 1 to October 7. The examination fee is 1,000 rupees for general, defense personnel, ex-servicemen, and central OBC-NCL candidates, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay 750 rupees.
