Rasmus Hojlund returns to Napoli training after strong international performances

Napoli striker Rasmus Hojlund has returned to training at Castel Volturno following a highly productive international break with the Denmark national team. During the Nations League, Hojlund scored three goals in four matches, demonstrating a more central and offensive role compared to his recent performances in Serie A.

Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri expressed confidence in the striker ahead of the upcoming match against Frosinone. Allegri stated, “From you I expect twenty goals,” noting that Hojlund possesses the necessary qualities to reach that mark. The coach also addressed the fitness of other returning internationals, including Kevin De Bruyne, noting they appeared in good condition.

Observers have noted a tactical difference in Hojlund’s play between his club and national duties. While his goals for Napoli have often come from individual effort, his performances for Denmark have seen him more deeply involved in offensive maneuvers and closer to the opponent's goal. Hojlund has reportedly returned to training with high intensity and motivation.
