Raspberry notes lead 2026 perfume launches as 4711 unveils Saint‑Tropez cologne

Perfume makers are centering 2026 collections around the raspberry note, which industry insiders describe as a “tension‑adding” ingredient that adds juiciness and complexity. Thibaud Crivelli, founder of Maison Crivelli, said, “Raspberry introduces tension in the composition. It’s juicy, soft, playful, but when paired with leather, oud or musk it gains complexity.” Emma South of Jo Malone added that when the fruit’s full aromatic spectrum is explored it “opens a space for layers, texture and true originality.” Leading releases include Jo Malone’s Raspberry Ripple, Dior’s Rouge Trafalgarde and Chanel’s Eau Splendente, each pairing raspberry with notes such as white musk, pachuli, rose and cedar.

In parallel, historic German house 4711 introduced a fresh, citrus‑forward “Saint‑Tropez” cologne crafted by Paulo de Moraes. Priced at €13.95 at Druni, the fragrance blends lime, mandarin, pear, magnolia and jasmine to evoke Mediterranean summer vibes.
