Raspberry Pi reports record revenue and profit growth

Raspberry Pi reported record first-half revenue and profitability for 2026, driven by a 90% increase in revenue to $256.9 million. The company's adjusted EBITDA rose 108% to $40.3 million, while pre-tax profit increased 216% to $19.6 million.

Growth was supported by a 17% rise in unit shipments, totaling 4.2 million units. The customer order backlog more than doubled during the period, reaching 2.6 million units at the end of June. Demand was particularly strong for Compute Modules and Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 boards, with significant interest noted in the smart home, aerospace, and defense sectors.

Chief Executive Officer Eben Upton noted that the company maintained product availability despite supply-chain challenges, aided by a diversified DRAM supplier base. Direct unit shipments through a factory partnership with Sony in Wales grew by 26%. The company also expanded its product lineup with five new releases, including the AI HAT+ 2 for the Raspberry Pi 5, which enables local generative AI capabilities.
