Le Pen and Bardella also highlighted increasing hybrid threats across Europe, specifically citing a security incident in Leipzig, Germany, involving a drone with explosives found near a Ukrainian cargo plane. While they maintain that domestic debate regarding the scale and conditions of French support for Ukraine remains legitimate, they asserted that no foreign provocation or covert operation should force France to facilitate Russia’s military objectives in Ukraine.
