RASSOLOG sports and social association launched in Moundou

The Alliance sportive et sociale du Logone (RASSOLOG) was officially established in Moundou, the capital of the Logone Occidental region, during a constitutive general assembly on Saturday, August 29. The event brought together sports club secretaries, former footballers, players, and supporters.

Ndadjidé Koulembaye Abel, the provincial delegate for Youth and Sports of Logone Occidental, presided over the proceedings. During the assembly, participants reviewed and adopted the statutory texts that will govern the organization. A 12-member executive board was elected, with Rianodji Armand appointed as president.

In his inaugural speech, Abel praised the creation of RASSOLOG as an act of civic engagement and responsibility. He emphasized that sports and social initiatives serve as vital tools for social cohesion, peace, education, and regional development. He urged the members to prioritize collective interests and promote values such as solidarity, fair play, and active citizenship.
