Rassoul Ndiaye named captain of Le Havre AC

Le Havre AC manager Didier Digard has appointed Senegalese midfielder Rassoul Ndiaye as the club captain for the upcoming season. Ndiaye, who is entering his fourth season with the club, succeeds former captains Arouna Sanganté and Issa Soumaré.

Ndiaye expressed that receiving the role is an “honor” and noted the responsibility required to manage the position. Despite potential transfer interest during the market window, Ndiaye stated he is focused on Le Havre, having extended his contract until 2028. The appointment comes as the team prepares for their Ligue 1 season opener against AS Monaco.
