Rastelli Fratelli Wins Gold at Casina Parmigiano Reggiano Palio

The 14th edition of the Palio del Parmigiano Reggiano “Città di Casina”, held during the 60th Parmigiano Reggiano Fair in Casina, awarded the gold medal for the 24‑month Parmigiano Reggiano to the Rastelli Fratelli dairy of Rubbiano (Solignano, PR). The competition featured 42 mountain dairies, and the gold medal was presented to Matteo Fantini of Latteria Sociale San Giorgio in Casina.

Thirteen winning dairies for the 2026 Palio will be honored with a “Casello d’Oro” ceremony. Future events include a series of regional Palios in September‑October 2026 and the next international edition scheduled for Berlin in February 2027. A traditional cheese‑cutting contest also took place during the fair.
