Rasuwa flash flood leaves family of four missing in Nepal

A family of four from Rolpa remains missing following a flash flood of the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. The missing individuals include 40-year-old Kul Prasad Budha Magar, his 36-year-old wife Meena Gharti Magar, their 21-year-old son Deep Budha Magar, and their four-year-old daughter Khushi Budha Magar.

Bhim Prakash Budha Magar, the brother of Kul Prasad, has conducted an extensive search through hospitals, morgues, and riverbeds across Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Nuwakot, and Kathmandu. Despite encountering many unrecognizable bodies during his search, he continues to hope his family members are alive. He has provided a DNA sample in Kathmandu to assist in potential identification, a process expected to take two to three months.
