Ratlam jeweler robbed of 7.5 crore rupees worth of gold
A jeweler was robbed of gold worth approximately 7.5 crore rupees on the Indore four-lane highway near Rain Phante in the Bilpank police station area of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The victim, Arpit Chauradia, was traveling from Barnagar to Ratlam when criminals reportedly forced the bus to stop and seized a bag containing roughly five kilograms of gold jewelry.
Police officials, including SP Amit Kumar and ASP Vivek Kumar, arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation. A dog squad has been deployed to assist in searching the surrounding areas. While authorities are actively pursuing the suspects, the case has been noted as suspicious. Police have detained one of the merchant's friends for questioning as they investigate all possible angles, including whether the robbery was staged.
