Ratlam police raid five dhabas for illegal alcohol sales

Police in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, conducted surprise raids on five dhabas (roadside eateries) to crack down on the illegal consumption and sale of alcohol. Led by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rakesh Pandro, the operation was carried out without prior notification to local police stations to ensure secrecy.

The raids targeted establishments along the Sejavata four-lane bypass and the Sailana Road area under the Industrial police station jurisdiction. During the inspections, officers discovered individuals consuming alcohol in open areas and found illegal stocks, including beer cans and country liquor, hidden in refrigerators.

Authorities seized the illegal alcohol and related materials. Legal action is being initiated against the dhaba operators for violating regulations. Officials stated that they will continue to monitor and take strict action against establishments involved in illegal activities.
