Raudy de la Rosa Morales surrenders in Hato Mayor robbery case

Raudy de la Rosa Morales, known as ‘El Pelotero’, has voluntarily surrendered to police in Hato Mayor, Dominican Republic. He was wanted by the Central Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM) for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery targeting businessman Gelson Lester Paulino Solano in the Villa Canto sector.

De la Rosa Morales surrendered through Rafael Ureña, president of the National Human Rights organization, who acted as an intermediary. While in custody, De la Rosa Morales denied any involvement in the crime and maintained his innocence.

Authorities stated that his surrender brings the total number of suspects in the case to four. Previous individuals to surrender include Víctor Alfonso Pérez, Ángel David Leonardo Martínez, and Eudi Alexander Bernard Sanete. Police investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are being transferred to the Public Ministry.
