Raul Neto signs with Brisbane Bullets as injury replacement

Former NBA player and two-time Brazilian Olympian Raul Neto has signed with the Brisbane Bullets as an injury replacement. Neto, a veteran of 464 NBA games, joins the NBL side to replace star guard Arnas Velicka, who is expected to be sidelined for approximately eight weeks due to a leg injury.

Neto arrives in Queensland following a period away from professional basketball after his last club stint with San Pablo Burgos in Spain. Bullets coach Will Weaver noted that while the team is prepared for Neto to play, they are taking a cautious approach regarding his immediate readiness. Neto expressed his intent to help the club return to championship contention, noting that his focus is on team success rather than individual statistics.
