Raul Rosas Jr. and Raoni Barcelos recently met in Las Vegas to share a moment of mutual respect following their intense bout at UFC Vegas 121. The fight, which took place on September 26 at the Meta Apex, ended in the fifth round when Barcelos suffered a medical emergency that led to a TKO victory for Rosas Jr.

During the match, Barcelos appeared to lose consciousness, prompting fears of a serious injury. According to UFC legend and coach Glover Teixeira, the incident was reportedly caused by brain swelling, potentially as a response to extreme exhaustion.

Barcelos has since been released from medical care and is recovering with his family. Both fighters, who earned $100,000 each for ‘Fight of the Night’, expressed mutual respect on social media, with Rosas Jr. praising Barcelos’ toughness and expressing relief regarding his recovery.
