Rauma resident wins one million euro Milli jackpot

A woman from Rauma, Finland, has won a one million euro jackpot in the Milli game hosted by Veikkaus. The winning numbers were generated by the Veikkaus application on Friday, August 28.

The winner reported that she initially believed the win was a technical error in the application because all the numbers appeared in green. She took several screenshots of the winning numbers to ensure the information was preserved. Unlike Lotto or Eurojackpot, which have a three-week waiting period for payouts, the Milli game allows for faster transfers, and the funds have already been deposited into her account.

This win follows another major jackpot in Rauma, where a six million euro Lotto prize was won less than a week prior. The winner has stated she intends to keep her identity private and will take time to decide how to use the funds.
