Raum]für[raum identifies graphical user interface as top innovation

The software company raum]für[raum has identified its graphical user interface as one of its top five innovations over its 25-year history. Developed starting in late 2006, the interface was designed to address the challenges of desksharing and workplace booking.

Unlike traditional booking masks that used cryptic naming conventions for workstations, this interface allowed companies to visually map buildings, locations, and floors. This approach transformed the booking process into a visual navigation system, enabling users to search, find, and book available workspaces through a graphical floor plan with just a few clicks.
