Raveena Tandon clarifies ‘Aaja Gufaon Mein Aa’ was not a horror song

Actress Raveena Tandon has addressed the common misconception that her song ‘Aaja Gufaon Mein Aa’ is a horror track. Appearing as a special guest on the semi-final episode of the dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’ Season 5, Tandon clarified that the original song was intended to be beautiful and focused on women's empowerment.

While praising a performance by contestant Geetanjali and choreographer Anuradha as “flawless,” Tandon expressed concern over the decision to use a frightening aesthetic for the routine. She noted that many modern choreographers tend to recreate the song in a horror format, which she believes misinterprets the original intent. She recalled that the original choreography by Raju Subramaniam was designed to represent women's power rather than something negative.
