Raveena Tandon recalls Bollywood collaborations with Karisma Kapoor and Govinda

Actress Raveena Tandon shared several anecdotes regarding her career and past collaborations during an appearance on the dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’ season 5.

Tandon discussed her relationship with co-star Karisma Kapoor during the filming of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. She noted that while the cast members—including Aamir Khan and Salman Khan—did not always speak to one another, their shared respect for filmmaking helped them work as a team. She recalled a specific moment when she and Kapoor were left tied to a pillar during a night shoot, an incident that helped break the ice between them.

Additionally, Tandon reflected on her professional chemistry with actor Govinda. She stated that she and Karisma Kapoor were among the few actresses who paired brilliantly with him. Tandon credited Govinda with teaching her the nuances of comedy timing and recalled the successful collaboration on the 1998 film ‘Dulhe Raja’, which began after a visit to a temple in Calcutta.
