Ravello authorities warn of slippery roads after vehicle fire

A vehicle fire on Strada Provinciale 1 near the Monte Brusara intersection in Ravello has created hazardous driving conditions. While the fire itself was managed, the incident left a slimy substance on the asphalt, likely consisting of combustion residues or leaked fluids.

The Municipality of Ravello has issued an urgent warning to motorists, particularly those on two-wheeled vehicles, to exercise extreme caution. Drivers are advised to reduce speed and avoid sudden braking due to the slippery road surface.

Arechi Multiservizi personnel responded to the scene to attempt to clean the roadway. However, the agency confirmed that reclamation efforts have proven more complex than expected, and the slippery material has not yet been fully removed.
