Ravello hosts cultural forum and chamber music series
The 21st edition of Ravello Lab, a European forum focused on culture and development, concluded on October 24, 2026, at Villa Rufolo. Organized by the European University Centre for Cultural Heritage, Federculture, and the National School of Heritage and Cultural Activities, the event brought together over 100 experts to discuss the theme “Memory and contemporaneity: traversing art.”
Discussions centered on strategies for cultural regeneration, conservation, and increasing accessibility for youth and disadvantaged groups. Key panel discussions addressed territorial creativity, the promotion of contemporary art, and the importance of communication in expanding cultural access. The findings will be compiled into recommendations for national and supranational institutions.
Simultaneously, Villa Rufolo is hosting the third year of the Nevile Reid Musical Salon. This chamber music series, running through December 6, 2026, features ten concerts ranging from Haydn and Beethoven to Piazzolla. The program includes both international award-winning young performers and experienced musicians, performing in the Auditorium and the recently reopened Sala Teatro.
