Ravena Oliveira released by UFC after four consecutive losses

The UFC has released Brazilian fighter Ravena Oliveira following a series of four consecutive losses in the organization. Oliveira, 29, competed across three different weight classes—bantamweight, strawweight, and flyweight—making her one of only two women in UFC history to do so, alongside former champion Jessica Andrade.

Her tenure in the Octagon began in 2023 with a loss to Tainara Lisboa. After a two-year hiatus, she returned in 2025, facing subsequent defeats against Stephanie Luciano, Shanelle Dyer, and most recently, Juliana Miller at UFC Vegas 120. Oliveira finishes her UFC career with an 0-4 promotional record and a total MMA record of 7-5-1.

Her departure comes as the UFC undergoes roster restructuring to accommodate new talent from the tenth season of Dana White’s Contender Series. The promotion has already signed 10 fighters from the series, necessitating cuts to manage roster size.
