Ravenna FC signs Simone Rabbi from AS Cittadella
Ravenna FC has officially announced the signing of striker Simone Rabbi from AS Cittadella. The deal is structured as a loan with an obligation to purchase and includes a multi-year contract for the 2001-born player.
Following the transfer, Cittadella General Manager Stefano Marchetti criticized Rabbi’s conduct during the negotiation process. Marchetti described the player’s refusal to participate in training and matches as a “grave” and unprofessional gesture that went against the club’s values.
In addition to the Rabbi signing, Ravenna is reportedly nearing a deal to sign Daniele Casiraghi, a midfielder who previously played for Sudtirol.
