Ravenna hosts record Pink RAnning event against gender violence

The sixth edition of Pink RAnning took place in the Darsena area of Ravenna, setting a record with 3,690 participants. Organized by the Ravenna Runners Club in collaboration with the anti-violence center Linea Rosa, the event aimed to raise awareness and protest against gender-based violence.

The event featured a diverse group of participants, including families, runners, and walkers, all wearing pink t-shirts. Notable attendees included actress Chiara Francini, who served as the event's godmother, as well as Ravenna Prefect Raffaele Ricciardi and Mayor Alessandro Barattoni.

This edition also marked the first time employees from AstraZeneca participated through the company’s ‘Solidarity in Action’ corporate volunteering initiative, allowing staff to engage in the activities during working hours.
