Ravenna police conduct security checks, resulting in arrest and fines

Local police in Ravenna conducted extraordinary security checks near the station and Speyer gardens over a 48-hour period. The operations resulted in an arrest and significant fines for illegal commerce.

A 36-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were caught selling unauthorized bottled beer. Both individuals received fines exceeding 5,000 euros for violating trade and product traceability regulations; the merchandise was seized.

Additionally, a 22-year-old Egyptian national was arrested after being stopped during e-bike checks. The individual was already subject to a pretrial detention order and was found in possession of MDMA. Following the discovery, the suspect reportedly reacted violently toward officers before being taken into custody.
