Ravenna student residence expands with 17 new beds

The Opera di Santa Teresa del Bambino Gesù in Ravenna is set to inaugurate the Residenza San Giuseppe da Copertino, a new wing of its student residence, on Friday, October 2. This expansion will increase the facility's capacity from 25 to 42 beds.

The inauguration ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Ravenna-Cervia, Lorenzo Ghizzoni, followed by a ribbon-cutting and a project presentation. Located in the heart of Ravenna, the residence is part of a charitable organization that has operated for nearly 100 years.

Beyond providing accommodation, the facility aims to support students' academic and personal growth through community life, cultural activities, and spiritual formation. Students are also encouraged to participate in the organization's charitable work through voluntary service. The residence features furnished rooms equipped with Wi-Fi and television, alongside shared kitchens, recreational rooms, and laundry facilities.
