Ravindra Jadeja scores century for Saurashtra in Ranji Trophy

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored his 16th first-class century for Saurashtra against Chhattisgarh during the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy season at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Jadeja made 102 runs off 209 deliveries, including seven boundaries, to help anchor Saurashtra’s first-innings total of 392.

During the innings, Jadeja shared a 205-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Prerak Mankad, who also scored a century (129 runs).

In a notable coincidence, Jadeja was dismissed by Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, a left-arm orthodox spinner playing as a guest player for Chhattisgarh. Dharmendrasinh, a former teammate of Ravindra at Saurashtra, caught him ‘caught and bowled’ on 102. This performance serves as preparation for India’s upcoming Test series in New Zealand scheduled for late October 2026.
