Rawayana launches Fundación El After to aid earthquake‑hit Venezuelan communities

The Venezuelan band Rawayana announced the creation of the Fundación El After, a charitable organization intended to provide long‑term assistance to the communities devastated by the double earthquake on 24 June. The foundation’s first phase will focus on emotional and social support for children, adolescents and families in La Guaira, Caracas and the state of Miranda, responding to UNICEF’s warning that hundreds of thousands of minors need urgent help.

Rawayana highlighted that the initiative builds on the group’s earlier contributions to NGOs such as World Central Kitchen, Cáritas de Venezuela, Hogar Bambi, Yummy Rides, Connector House, ADN Venezuela and Fundación Altius. The band said, “Nuestra naturaleza es preguntarnos: ¿Qué viene después? Y para nosotros la respuesta está en las nuevas generaciones,” underscoring a commitment to sustained aid beyond the immediate emergency.
