Rawayana performs two sold-out shows in Santiago
Venezuelan band Rawayana performed two consecutive sold-out shows at the Gran Arena del Cibao in Santiago, Dominican Republic, as part of their ‘¿Dónde es el After? World Tour’. The performances featured a mix of the group's hits and popular Dominican rhythms, including songs by Bulin 47 and Juan Luis Guerra.
The concerts were noted for their interactive elements, such as a giant karaoke segment and a secondary stage that functioned as a dance floor. Lead vocalist Beto Montenegro incorporated themes of ‘manifestation’ and expressed gratitude to the Dominican Republic for hosting the large Venezuelan community living in the country.
The location of these shows in Santiago was reportedly the result of a challenge made during the World Baseball Classic between Montenegro and Dominican baseball star Fernando Tatis Jr.
