Rawson hosts technical conference to strengthen asparagus sector

The Municipality of Rawson hosted the 3rd Asparagus Technical Conference 2026 at the Tierras Doradas Complex in Médano de Oro. The event aimed to strengthen one of the region's most significant production sectors.

Organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), the National University of San Juan (UNSJ), and the United Asparagus Association of Médano de Oro, the conference served as a platform for knowledge exchange. Participants discussed technologies and practices to improve production quality, reduce losses, and create new commercial opportunities.

Key attendees included Rawson Mayor Carlos Munisaga, the Minister of Production, Labor and Innovation Gustavo Fernández, and various academic and technical representatives from the San Juan government.
