Rawson neighborhood on alert following intentional fire

A fire broke out in a residential area of Rawson, specifically in Villa Las Rosas, affecting a family home and a 'chacarita'—a storage site for various materials intended for resale. The incident caused significant concern among local residents due to a large, thick column of black smoke.

Roberto Fuentes, head of Fire Detachment 3, stated that the fire appeared to be intentional. While specific details regarding the ignition were not provided, authorities indicated that the occupants of the home may have started the fire, which subsequently spiraled out of control.

Five firefighting units responded to the scene and worked to prevent the flames from spreading to neighboring houses. Although the fire caused alarm in the community, no injuries were reported and no major material losses were recorded in adjacent properties.
