Ray Dalio: Wealth provides security but has limits on happiness

Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, stated at the Milken Institute Asia Summit in Singapore that while money provides security, freedom, and comfort, it does not indefinitely increase happiness.

Dalio suggested that once a certain level of financial security is reached, additional wealth does not necessarily lead to greater life satisfaction. He identified a sense of belonging and being part of a community as the most important factors for long-term happiness, noting that quality relationships often have a greater impact on well-being than increased bank balances.
